There’s a new challenge over at Polkadoodles We Love 2 Create. This time I’ve done some card folding. I chose to make a double tri-fold shutter card with a lot of coloring.
I chose a purple paper as my base. Then I cut out white papers that I did some stamping too. I colored all the elements with Copics. I added some more textures with stencils and Distress ink. And added some more stamping to them.
I also die-cut out a tag that I fastened together with a pink ribbon as the close function of the card. Down below can you see how the card looks closed. I really love purple as you can see.
When you open the card you see all these flowers in squares. I have colored them with Copics and added stamping in and around them with Distress ink. Some soft stencil patterns are found too in one of the flower squares.
The main focus in this card is the new character Weirdre. I chose the one called Weirdre just create. I just love her! I colored her in pink and purple colors.
For the background, I used a stencil and stamped around her with Distress ink. The sentiment I also colored with Copics.
The fun of this card is that half the sentiment is in the closed card and the rest is when you open the card. I just thought that would be a fun function. Or what do you think?
I had a lot of fun playing with these stamp sets. I hope you give them a try.
Have a crafty day!
