Hello everyone.
I am here today with another project for Polkadoodles. This time, I’ve made a Triple Pop-Up Cube card in mixed media style. Sadly, when I added all the mixed media elements, I kind of lost the folding function in the card. So, it’s more like a Triple Cube Card instead. Further more, I’ve made a step-by-step video for this project, click on the video down below if you want to watch it.
I’ve made the base out of blue cardstock and assembled. I decorated the base with papers from two paper packs, Starfish & Sandcastles and Mermazing ocean. I’m really in love with the ice cream paper from Starfish & Sandcastles. I also die-cut out a ovale from one of the patterned papers and added a sentiment. The sentiment is a blue paper that I die-cut out Happy Birthday. This die, is beautiful and big, which suits perfectally for a project like this. I added them to the cubes.

Next, I stamped Fuzzypuff Scruff Birthday twice and colored them with Copics alcohol markers. I also stamped and colored some butterflies from the Special times stamp set. I cut them all out and added to the cubes. The butterflies, I wanted some height under, so I added 3D foam pillows under them, together with some blue sewing thread. I also decorated with some metal corners.

Now, to the messy parts. To the top cube and underneath the Scruffs, I added blue acryl mousse. Then I made a mixture of modelingpaste, blue ink spray, micro beads and art stones. I added the mixture here and there to the cube card. It got the feeling of ice cream, which I really liked. Then, I made small boxes in blue paper that I added modeling paste through the accents stencil, before I assembled them. I also made some bows, that I stamped with a star stamp from See the flowers stamp set. I colored in the modeling paste on the boxes with yellow ink spray and attached some yellow ribbons around them. Next, I could add the bow, and I got small presents. The presents, I added inside two of the cubes, and added more of the mixture around them.

My favorite part is the mixture and the small presents, it really added that little extra to this project. Or what do you think?
