Canvas with Ula Be a princess

Hello everyone.
I re-joined as a DT member for Polkadoodles and today I’m sharing my first project. Today I got a mixed media canvas to share with you with the digital stamp called Ula be a princess.

I started by printing the stamp out and then coloring it with Copic alcohol markers. I really like the tones I chose this time. I then cut her out by hand and put her aside, while I was working on the canvas.

For the canvas, I added modeling paste through the stencil called heavenly circles. Then I added some twines around the canvas from the top to the bottom. Next, I painted it all with white gesso.

When the canvas was dry, I colored it in with ink sprays in black, gray, purple, and brown. Next, I added art stones in three different sizes and added them next to the twine. I painted the art stones with gesso before I colored them. Then, I enhanced the textures by dry brushing with white gesso. Next, I adhered the stamp to the canvas and added white splats with white gesso. Finally, I added some black stoned beneath the stamp.

Have a crafty day!
