Art Journal with Serenity Fairy Resting

Hi everyone!
Today I’m sharing a new project for Polkadoodles. This time I’ve created an art journal page with the digital stamp Serenity Fairy Resting. For this creation, I also created a step-by-step video that you can find on my youtube channel.

I started as usual coloring the stamp with Copic alcohol markers. Then, I started to work on the background in my art journal. I started by adding gesso randomly over the pages with a spatula. Next, I added some flowers from two stamp sets; Flower collage and Doodle dragonfly. On one of the pages, the stamping went bad, so I saved the page by adding purple acrylic paint with a spatula. To make the pages come together, I added the purple paint on the other page too.

Next, I did some background stamping with the vintage text stamp set. Then, I adhered the colored stamp to one of the pages. I felt, the pages went a little bit too dark, so I added gesso with a spatula again and also added some splatters.
After that, I added some titles with stickers and added them on the opposite page of the stamp. I finished it off, by making some doodling around the stickers and around the pages.
