Hello everyone.
It’s time for another challenge over at We Love 2 Create challenge blog. And for that I’ve made two tags with two flower stamp sets. I will in this blog post, share and describe the steps of both tags at the same time.
First of all I die-cut out the tags with the Posydoodles tags die from watercolor papers. In the picture you can see how the stamp sets looks like.
With the first stamp, I stamped it onto the tag, as the picture shows below.
I didn’t use a waterproof stamp pad. Then I colored the stamp with Distress ink and a waterbrush. I wanted the smudge look on this coloring.
I also colored the white background with Distress ink. And I got a little more smudged image. This is ok, because this is just the background of the tag.
For the other one I colored in with Distress ink and the Feather & wings stencil. Then I did some stamping with a darker green. Finally, on this one I did some edge stamping with a black Distress ink. I also did some stamping to the blue tag, but with texture and edge stamping.
From both stamp sets, I stamped flowers and a butterfly on a separate paper and colored them with Copics. Which colors I used, can you find further down in this blog post.
I cut out all the elements and glued them to the tags. The butterfly from the Every wish in the world stamp set, I did place on the other tag.
To the Every wish in the world tag, I stamped a sentiment, that I cut out. I did color the edges with Copics, before I attached it.
I really, love the background at the best day ever tag, when you also got the colored flowers, that really stands out.
Finally, I added some ribbons and strings to the tags. I really hope you liked my tags. My favorite is the Best day ever tag, with the smudgy colored background.
