Bow card with Bright & Beautiful paper pack

Hello everyone.
There’s a new challenge over at Polkadoodles We Love 2 Create. You can find it here. For this challenge I chose to make another card fold. I chose a card called Bow card. It was a little bit of a challenge for me, but I made it work at the final end.

First of all I made the bow itself. I created it by die-cutting out circles in white and patterned papers. I chose a paper pack called Bright & beautiful for this. I added the patterned circles to the white circles before I bent them. Then I die-cut out two other circles, on in patterned papers and one in white. To the white circle I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set Perfect Wishes. Around the sentiment, I stamped with circles from the Round the houses stamp set. I used different shades of pink for that. After all stamping was done, I added it to the white circle.

Next, I glued the bent circles behind my sentiment circles. I also added some tails that I’ve cut out in the same papers that I used for the bent circles. And the bow part was done. It was a little bit tricky to make the glue stick. But I succeed in the end.

Then for the background. For that I stamped a white paper with different stamps from the Amazing textures stamp set. I attached it to a pink card base. Next, I adhered the bow to the card. As a final touch, I made a mixture of clear gesso and some flower pot stones that I added to the bow. When the mixture was dry, I added Inka Gold to the stones.

I hope you enjoyed my card. It’s was something new for me. But it was fun to make for you.

Have a crafty day!

    1. Thank you so much! Mine got a little bit to big I think. Next time, I will try to make it a little bit smaller. 🙂
