Art Journal with Oddella digistamps

Hello everyone.
It’s time for a new challenge over at We Love 2 Create, sponsored by Polkadoodles. This time I’ve made an art journal page, using digistamps with Oddella as a focal point. In the pic below, you can see all of the Polkadoodles products that I’ve used in this project.

I started by coloring in a watercolor paper with purple ink spray. After that I sprayed it some more together with the Distressed trellis stencil. I did some stamping too, I then used stamps from the vintage text stamp set. I add the stamping here and ther over the page.

Next, I printed out five of the Oddella ( fairy, twig, bag, heart & bow). I colored them with Copic alcohol markers (the colors I used can you find further down in this blog post). I used orange and purple as the main color. I then cut them out and attached them to the paper. My first idea was to make it to something for Halloween, but as I continued with this project, it went a different way. That happens a lot for me. How is it for you?

Next step, was to add a title. So I used letters from the Funky alphabet stamp set, that I stamped on a precolored paper. I colored the letters with ink spray, and cut them out as squares before I added them to the page. I add some more words with stamps from my own stash. Finally, I framed the page with Distress ink to the edges.

Have a crafty day!
