Hello everyone.
It’s time for a new challenge over at We Love 2 Create, sponsored by Polkadoodles. For this challenge, I decided to make a round canvas. I also made a step-by-step video that you can see down below.
I started to create texture to the background. I used corrugated paper, twine and cheesecloth for that. I then painted the canvas with white gesso.
Next, I cut out mannequins from the Creative Doodle making faces stamp & card kit. I colored them i with water colors in brown and orange color. After that, I die-cut out leaves with the Super Sprigs craft die out from one of the papers from Vintage journal & ephemera paper collection. I colored in them some more with brown and orange Distress Ink.
Next, I colored in the canvas with ink spray in brown and red and spread the color with water. When the canvas was dry, I started gluing the Super Sprigs around the canvas. I also added pearls in different sizes around the edge. Finally, I adhered the mannequins to the canvas.
