Hello everyone.
There’s a new challenge today at We Love 2 Create, be sure to check it out. For this challenge, I’ve made an art journal page. I started by adding modeling paste through the Distressed trellis stencil and then paint it with white gesso.
Next, I colored in the page with blue and purple ink spray. When the page was dry, I painted the parts that I wanted lighter with white gesso. I also added some more texture to the gesso with a spatula.
Next, I die-cut out Delicate Daisies out of patterned paper from two paper packs. I assembled all the flowers and added them to the page together with blue and purple sewing threads. Next, I stamped butterflies from the Every Wish in the world stamp set and cut them out. I then, colored them in with Distress ink and attached them to the page. After that, I made a mixture out of white gesso, perfect pearls, pearlex and art stones, that I added to the flowers. I didn’t think the mixtured “popped”, so I painted the mixture with blue Inka Gold. Finally, I added a title with stickers from my stash.
It become really beautiful. All the elements combines so perfect. I really, can’t pick one favorite thing out of this page. Or can you?
