Hello everyone.
Yeay, it’s time for a new challenge over at We Love 2 Create. Check it out there, to find what the other created. This time, I made a black art journal page together with acrylic paint. I had a lot of fun creating this one.
I started with green color through the absolutely stunning Magical grasses stencil. I painted some more gras by free hand to make it cover the whole page. I framed the page with a stamp from the Bumpy road stamp set together with green acrylic paint. Then, I stamped flowers with blue, pink and turqouise acrylic paint. I also stamped some butterflies to the page. To them, I added some doodling with white and black posca pen.
Next, I added a sentiment with words from two stamp set, that I embossed with white embossing powder. I added some more of that white powder to three of the flowers and also added some black around some of the parts in that Magical grass. Then I felt that something was missing, so I started to add glossy accents here and there, and tried to add color to it with some powder I got. But it all went wrong, so when the page was all dried, I added to all of the glossy parts nail polish. Because, my inka gold didn’t want to cover the glossy parts, the nail polish was the only thing that did. Isn’t that amazing? And the result, went really good. What a lucky mistake.
My favorite part of this page is how the acrylic paint really stands out of the black, and I really love the white embossing powder to the three flowers. What is your favorite part? Feel free to leave a comment about it.
